stable V27 including 3D is coming soon

V27 will be launched in april. This version includes a stable 3D-algorithm and could be activated by everybody at the service setting menue. Look at the attached picture, it shows how to activate perspective mode in this menue (select Set in the main menue and then press menue during 20 sec).
The display of birdview is not different than with T26.09a but faster.
Please be patient. T26.09a crashed a lot of MK4 after a while.

Awesome, but for anyone who can't wait, Martin Bishop's mods are excellent. Great programming skills and collaborative effort by everyone here at X5 World!

Just wondering...how do you know when the official version will be released, and how do you know it will have the perspective view??

Well it crashed mine twice and I know it has crashed others, so I'd be inclined to believe this a genuine post! Full V26 with Martin/Alex mods seems much more stable.

Full details can be found in the Bugs thread.

Mine crashed (not damaged, though) like two times the first day that I installed it, the Search by name function was gone, lost the GPS receiver completely once...

The best version is the "Martin Special V26P Splash with moisterizer" if you want to have it all, Perspective, custom splash screen, Search function intact, and stability. It's been a full week of flawless performance in my Nav so far. Actually, I hope that the V27 Splash screen can be modified too because if for some reason it can't I would not upgrade.

I would stay the hell away from that Beta...
