Mike,

You really looked down and sneered on Kris, but it is your own lack of understanding of the system and fear of meddling with it. You knew your own weakness but underestimated the abilities of others much more skilled than you.

At least be a man and apologise for being such a condescending ignoramus, or are you not man enough? If you can't bring yourself to do so, just do others a favour and keep your negative comments to yourself.

4) more intuitive menu text. Here's what I'm thinking:

Thoughts?
Kris,

Great work - I've been looking into doing sort of the same, but just haven't had the spare time. We'll give it a run on our bench unit and test it out.

Kris,

Fantastic work! Did you ever consider doing/releasing your v.2 with the POI Language (non-french) fix?

Sorry for my extremely delayed response on this .

There's two ways to do this:
  • Hack your map disc, replacing the French POIs with another copy of the English POIs
  • Use NavCoder to make language #3 English for your Navigation system.
In other words, I don't think this can be done with just firmware.
