NavCoder v1.2 has been released

KiwiJochen,

I must have been bitten by the "bug". I recoded with v 1.2.1 and ETA is working great. Thanks again for your ongoing efforts!

KiwiJochen,

Not sure about this, but that Run Time error happened to me as well. To get around this I right clicked on the app and selected "Run As" and used the Administrator account. Worked like a champ. (FYI, my account was a local administrator but for some reason the app didn't like that).

I built the simple interface and used your NavCoder v 1.2 to code my VIN and body type into the telematics screen. It worked perfectly.

I also changed the third language - I was more than happy with the first two – and everything went as smooth as you would have desired.

I also coded “Auto emergency call” and “BMW assist” and I got a new “BMW Assist” option in the main menu. As it seemed there was no practical use for this I then recoded again, this time with “Auto emergency call” but no “BMW assist”. I expected the “BMW Assist” menu option would go away, but it did not. ¿I this what should happen?

Best regards, and thank you for a very neat and useful application.

I don't know the difference with Mk3 M and Mk3 C

I know how to change Mk4M to Mk4C, if you think your Mk4 is coded for Monochrome then it's worth trying to get it to go into Colour mode.

I think Auto Emergency Call is part of the BMW Assist program, so I believe what you saw is normal.
Auto Emergency Call is designed to call the BMW Assist centre, so Assist must be on for Auto Em. Call to work - someone correct me if I am wrong
