X1313 currently has these signals:
Ibus pin 3
Terminal30 (battery) pin 1
NAV_NF+ (voice) pin 9
NAV_NF- (voice gnd) pin 18
Terminal31 (gnd) pin 10
Terminal31 (gnd) pin 11
You need to retain all of these signals and add
VMLC31 (monitor gnd) pin 12
RGB signals
So leave the existing wiring attached, and just fit the 3 x video signals and the monitor ground

Leave ALL existing wiring in place.
The mono-nav is a subset of the colour nav. You NEED all the existing wiring. You only need to ADD the RGB signals (and respective wires).

I cannot confirm the wiring of the connector on the radio-nav unit, it is missing in the WDS. So you will need to document the plug (wire colours, pin numbers) and then compare to the retro-fit diagram. You may find everything is correct, and in the right place.

Yes, the LCD brightness control (PL, black wire) is a single wire from the blue plug to the white plug of the bordmonitor. As per the retrofit instructions.
What you are doing is simple. You are tending to over-complicate matters.
Remember: what you have is a subset of what you need. No existing wiring needs to be removed. You only need to ADD wiring.
