Can you compile/pipe NavCoder to PocketPC?
Um, no - I don't have Pocket PC - and don't know the envrionment

Will Pocket PC run a simple VB app?

NavCoder is written in VB6 and is quite straight forward (from a coding point of view)

I think so, but I'm not sure.
I think Bill is trying to convert us all to .net.
Within PocketPC 2002 it is posible, but on PocketPC 2003 and onwards I'm not so sure.

I've got an old spare PPC laying about which I revised with new battery and is in great shape that I can donate to you and the project if you like.
Throw me a PM for details.

POI:
Check this OBDGauge it works well on BMWs and it also uses the local COMport.

Cheers,

You must have the immobiliser and the On-board Computer for CODE to be available.

My 540 has CODE and all the 7-series V8 cars do as well.

I don't think it was ever available on the 3-series...??
I have a 3rd series with immobiliser and on board computer but don't see the CODE function so maybe it can be enabled throught IBUS in cars with the right "hardware" (immobiliser etc)??!!

Nope, CODE is tied in to the immobiliser itself, cannot be changed with NavCoder
