Which DVD is Correct?

I just bought a 2003 4.6 X5, my first car with nav, so I'm a bit of a beginner...
I currently have software version 4-1/12 and my dvd is 2002-1.
I'm searching on ebay for a newer version of the dvd, and see several available, but have heard that I need to make sure that I get a "high version" and am not sure how to determine if a particular dvd is the "high version".
I was hoping to just purchase the newest version of dvd I could find at a reasonable price, like 2007.1 or 2007.2, get the v29.1 update as well and perform the update procedure as I've read here.
Should I be concerned that I may buy a wrong version of the DVD, or will they all work for me? Also have noted that some of the same versions have different pictures on the dvd, like a desert road, or a road by a lake or ocean. Is that normal, or an indication of some someone trying to pass off an older or incorrect dvd?
Thanks for any assistance or pointers!

Get the DVD with a blue label (i-bus), not green label (MOST bus).

Well, they both have blue-ish labels. See ebay item #'s 180144057826 and 280137815932 for the two labels I'm referring to. They're both advertised as 2007.2 but look different.
What is the difference between the ibus etc?
Thanks!

I believe the one in auction 180144057826 is the one you want.

280137815932 would be for vehicle with the MOST bus, such as the newer 7 and 5 series.

LoL - check this out. The seller on auction 180144057826 stole my photo. See the last one on the first post in this thread - http://www.xoutpost.com/navigation-sy...tive-view.html

Heh! That's pretty blatant. So, if I can't get that one for a decent price, I'll keep looking for the dvd's with a pic of the road by the ocean.
Thanks again!

If you report the stolen photo to eBay, they will terminate the listing.

First thing to do is update your software from 4-1/12 (v1.2) to 4-1/91 (v9.1)

Massive differenve in software version, lots more features, better graphics, and much less bugs.....

Well worth while!

Do you mean V29.1? That seems to be the latest that's available. Or since my current is so old, do I need to do an intermediate update before I jump to the latest?

Yes, use software disc v29.1, which loads OS v4-1/91

You can go straight from 4-1/12 to 4-1/91 without any problems
