Porando is on a distinguished road
is there a way to modify professional to make it work in MKIV? Or can some folders be used from Professional and copied to to older version of High?

No File structure is diferent.
You can use any none C-IQ VDO Dayton Philips Carin CD
You may not have full compatibility (POI and extras) but navigating to adres and showing maps wil work fine
