Great thanks. Do you have the part number for the v.30 CD? I can't find it on realoem.com.

Thanks!

cool, if you can dig up the part #, that'd be great, I certainly don't mind buying a $10 CD. I have a strict "no burnt CD" policy for my Nav drive.

Jochen,

I just tried updating to the latest Navcoder and I get the following error:
MSCOMM: Cannot open COM1 port - Could not set Com state there maybe one or more invalid communications parameters

How do I fix this?

Well now that is interesting :-)

Never seen that problem before

MSCOMM cannot open the com port, are you sure you have com ports installed?

Please email me directly for further analysis

I also have the 325i/01 (e46) but have NO NAV system nor CD Changer, so tapping into the iBus will be more complicated... all I want to do is turn off the DRL... I have a chinese PA Scanner 1.36 interface - will turning off the DRL work with the PA Interface? Thx

No, NavCoder does not (yet) work over the OBDII interface. An idea/work in progress...

Over any device on the ibus - like the LSZ, which is behind the light switch 8remove light switch to access)

Or climate control.
Or radio
Or CD changer cable (fitted in most cars)

Some folks get a bit nervous tapping into wires, so getting the software to work via OBD2 would be really awesome...cheers !
