Do you have the link to that article?

Searched their site and found the article. They do mention that they took that feature summary from me - how nice

Overall a good article and it has some pictures of the navigation as seen in the MINI (same hardware as the BMWs).

British Voice...

I was reading on the mini boards that v25 has a British voice version/option. I thought that this would add to a little wow factor to the nav for passengers (i.e. accent and saying things like motorway instead of freeway). Does v26 have the same and does anyone have or know how to enable it?

I really wish they had female German accent voice like the one in the 750 iL used by Pierce Brosnan in Tomorrow Never Dies... that would be really cool!

The 'Australian' version has the following options for language:
GB - British English
D - German
F - French

As far as I'm aware all the voices for all the possible languages for the system are already in the navigation computer. In order to see other language options, you have to get the dealer to make some changes via their computer system (much like changing car/key memory settings). I've never done this so I'm no expert by any means.

I know it has the ability to also speak Italian & Spanish. I'm not sure how many other options there are...
