Thanks for bringing new life to my 03 Navi - its looks great now.
The whole update process is really easy & I love the deep blue colors of the Night mode. I think I will be using it as my "main" mode

Now I just need to learn how to change the splash screen...

I know, I wanted the blue to be used for both day and night, but for reasons unknown, the wide wont take (the split will, so you can have that if you wanted).

wow, that was allot of reading

I have one question - I loaded "updated" OS with my new splash screen, everything works fine but the splash screen wont come up when I open the car - the screen stays black/off untill I insert a key and start the car. As that moment I can see my new splash screen for a sec...

Do you know why its not comming up when I open the doors???

I think the reason is you have 4:3 monitor. The are another colour modules to be chaiged (not for widescreen).

OK, thanks for trying it out, do you get 3-1/65 in the top right hand corner (of the setting) menu?

Maybe, I have modded both wide and split for the mk3, you won't have 3d (only 2d), maybe the 4:3 headunit uses a different rom_col setting, can you switch between split and wide?
