Hello ccfj1, I am new to the forum, I have read all the posts. I think this is a great work what you do man. Keep going on.

I have a question. Have you maybe the V32 firmware with Language settings I, D, F (Italian, german, french)? I am using the german language.

Thanks a lot.

Welcome ro the forums mate,

Many thanks for the knind words.

Nightmode will work with any language, its the POIson alert that will be the problem, I dont have a POIson version that will work with them language options, but you can always use navtweak to make one.

If I get some free time I will make one up and PM you a link.

Hi guys,

I am bit confused here. Are the downloads linked in the first post the latest versions?

It says UPDATE 10-06-09 but I found another posting from ccfj1 on m3cutters.co.uk which provides files that have been updated on 22-06-09

Next week I will get my "new" used Z4 E85 with MK4 System. Which download is the best to pick for the German system then?

best regards

Stefan

The 22-06-12 version is a modded version call v2 which corrects the TMC memory overload problem. If your unit does not have this fault with the modded version, the use the one above, else use the v2 version from cutters.

I would not recomend any of the UK versions for non UK units (like your German mk4), you will need a German version to get all the extras.

Use the one from here (first post) for your German unit.

HTH and Merry Christmas.

EDIT: FORGET ABOUT THE FOLLOWING, IT BECAME CLEAR WHEN READING THROUGH THE FORUM :-)

Thanks for your super fast answer and merry christmas to you.
I am sorry but which one of the downloads in the first post do you mean?
I don't see any difference between a pure UK and German or European version. Sorry that that stupid question.

Btw: What will be the difference between the pure UK version and the other version?

best regards

Stefan

The difference is that the voice alert (for the UK language), is for the UK only, its does not have any of the (same) mods required for the GER voice (and txt) files (these are as OEM).

So the UK image only works with UK, FRE and GER. (ger being OEM)

btw: any idea why changes to rom_col don't affect anything (I mean the colorscheme 1 fullscreen view)? I changed rom_col rom_col1 rom_col2 and rom_col3 and everything works but the color1 fullscreen (no changes at all).

Stefan
rom_col is locked by the system as it is the default colour set (this can not be changed), it's to stop load failure corruption by non OEM colour sets.

If you can access the mk4 on-board config menu then it may be possible (as well as adding turned off/disabled features), I've been trying to access the config menu via osS9000 (OS for pc), but as yet cant access it.
