Do I have the right loom? 6-919-75802 (Car ready for MKIV?)
Hi,
short version: I think my car had a MKIV drive, but it's not there now. How do I determine if my wiring is OK to just put in a replacement MKIV drive? long version: I have a 2005 E53 3.0d I bought used last year, that I suspect it used to have satnav that the drive failed on, so the dealer just yanked the MKIV drive. I have : - A loom, part number 6-919-75802, with 2 18 pin connectors on it, one purplish, one light blue. The connectors are dangling where a MKIV drive would've been - a GPS antenna wire hanging down near the CD stacker (cable P/N 8-377-434 which is a GPS antenna cable according to realoem). - TV - Widescreen bordmonitor - bluetooth before I go buying a MKIV drive, can someone please confirm the loom 6-919-75802 is the right loom? It doesn't match on realoem so I'm stumped... Apologies if this is a FAQ. Cheers + thanks, Scott. Last edited by oztme; 02-01-2010 at 06:20 AM. |
