Back on topic:

Made in USA face masks: factory in Austin, TX. Newly setup company, produces medical surgical mask and N95 mask.

www.armbrustusa.com.

FDA approved, capacity of 1 million masks per day.

Google Armbrust American for their startup story.

Price is reasonable. $25 for a pack of 50.

You agreed to a post with a suggestion that I am racist. As OP, I looked to you to settle the matter, and you responded with, “sorry Happy. I am not a mediator”. It was a polite way to say, “too bad”. That’s not an apology.

All the comments after are just childish jabs. Myself included.

The title of this thread is, “Good Information in times of need”. How does arguing about the name of the virus produce any good information? When you started this thread I largely avoided it. This is a vehicle forum.

I gave some information pertaining to the virus and the effects of it. I even tried to meditate to the best of my ability when things were, in my opinion getting off topic. But, then I was attacked.

I never tried to make this thread about me. There is a reason some of us wanted this tread to go. Its toxic!

Human nature has a way of festering conflicts and confrontation. It's part of what we are.

Men are designed to confront and pursuit aggressively. It's how we're built.

I don't think I am here to promote confrontation or incite conflict, these things have a tendency to permeate in any discussions or forums.

But as I've said before, I don't mean to be nasty, and if this is about the exchange between you and BC, then I apologize for missing it. I kept thinking it was about the "'highness"

But it's not wise to get between any argument when it isn't about the topic of this thread, i think you'll agree with that.

Anyway, I still like you, if only because your nickname makes me hard to dislike you, Happy.

It's not a prefect thread, but needed information regarding various aspects of the virus has been presented by multiple members throughout the thread.

BC, crystal, stephenVA, andrew, upallnight, eod, and others have all contributed.

I think opening a dialogue about this situation that we're all in helps some of us here to reconcile their fears and anxieties towards the unknown this disease brings.

At least that's the hope.

I resent you belittling the efforts of all these members, and turning it all about you.

This may sound harsh, but it's not all about you.

I have not belittled anybody here. I’ve only responded to the attacks directed at me personally.

I have also given first hand testimony to the effects this virus has on the human body, and the concerns that federally employed medical staff were having in the beginning of the spread of this virus. That is a contribution. You acknowledge others, but fail to include me.

I have seen your biased view towards members that do not conform to your beliefs.

Your comment about, “it not being all about me” does not sound harsh to me. Because it’s a moot point.

It seems like you're doing it, because we're spending too much time talking about your feelings towards something that I don't remember doing, other than calling you "your highness".

Anyway, i'm gonna stop replying to you about this matter. Doesn't seem to have a happy ending.

I've said moe than enough.

Anyone saw the new American face mask info I posted? Let's focus on that.

Let's promote USA goods while helping to curb this virus spread!

I agree, and accept your apology.

I have never had any feelings of dislike for you or any member of the forum personally. I may have disliked certain posts, but not individuals.

Happy has been my nickname for 35 years. Got it when I was about 10 years old.

Damit Happy. We're going round and round and keep missing the point where we hug it out.

That's why I suggested PM!

Clearly from layperson understanding “they” have decided to use a few inaccurate names some of which mean sort of the opposite but to the general public they are equally concerned about the virus and the disease they don’t care to know the distinction.

My contention is that fact is driving much of the anxiety and if people will learn the difference they will be able to lower their stress and anxiety. AIDS is worse than HIV; covid-19 is worse than sars-cob-2. Simple facts like this can help end the full stop on life as we know it.

I don't think you are nuts.

I still don't understand. Why should the virus be called sars-cob-c to reduce the anxiety when the CDC named it Covid-19 and has always referred to it as such from the very beginning. Personally, I didn't care what the proper name was or would have known if it was named correctly or not. Only thing I wanted to know is the symptoms, what is the risk, and how do I mitigate the risk. Even if they named it " Don't Worry" I judged the risk by what the virus was doing in Washington state, California and New York.

My guess is that the much of anxiety many are feeling is from the mixed messages from other scientists not a part of the CDC, the mixed messages that stem from what Trump and some governors say and that of the CDC.

'm very disappointed in the CDC because they don't take a definitive stand. I think part of the reason is they would lose their job or be discredited. So it is better to have a chance to be before the public on TV than not have that platform so they water down their point of view.

In addition, depending on where one goes to find the truth, they will find one support for their opinions at either end of the spectrum.. For example, whether you think CNN and and Fox news are fake news or not Fox news is in alignment with the President and CNN is aligned with the CDC. There is so much conflicting information that one can find whatever they need to support their opinion and/or their political beliefs.

Finally, the CDC changes what they have been saying as more is learned so we get new information that causes doubt because it conflicts with previous statements. We are left to decide it the information was right then or now, right both times, and what else might change in the future. What is known or unknown especially in the future is a great source for anxiety, frustration, anger and doubt that anyone knows what they are talking about.

my head is still spinning from reading the last 10 posts. Gee guys really, you are talking about feelings? Reads like a Jerry Springer augmented reality show.

Now back to your regular station for IDENTIFICATION........
