I have an SD400. Overall, it's a great camera, but I'v noticed that with most Canon point-and-shoot's, indoor photography is not their strong suit (still not bad photos). They are fantastic outdoors. I still am loyal to their SD line, because there really isn't a combination of compactness, performance and quality on the market that comes close.

On a side note, I think Nikon's are fantastic (what I use for my SLR), but they are by no means user-friendly. Defienetly not the camera maker for casual use.

I got the PSC-90 case. It's a more rigid case so it holds its form better and it is easier to slide the camera in and out. Make sure you get one that fits the SD550 because the PSC-90 doesn't list the SD550 as a compatible camera. It might just be that the SD550 is too new and they haven't added it.

You can get a package like this one where you get an OEM Canon battery, case, and metal strap for under $50. The case alone costs about $25 at places like Best (Worst) Buy and Circuit City.

Yeah, I have seen that kit for as low as $39.99. I'll keep checking into the cases today. Thanks.

.

I just ordered the PSC-90 case through Amazon for $14.99. I added an LCD screen protector, and a belt clip for my Moto E815, and got out the door including shipping for <$26 :D LINK

Hey guys I just bought a Canon SD200 for $180 and also added a 1GB card for $50. I was a little worried about getting a Canon, but glad I did. I like how small it is, as I needed a camera to be able to put in my coat pocket. That SD550 looks like a great camera and a great price.

That's a great price for the SD200  Where did you get it?

I bought it off ebay brand new. Meet the person and picked it up about 45 minutes from my house.
