No problem with the download. Uncompressed the .rar file with TugZIP as recommended by Ucrew. Then used Alcohol120 to burn the image onto a CD-R using the slowest speed....which was 4X on my CD burner.

Did the usual upgrade....put the key in position 1, press accept, eject the Map DVD from the drive....put in the CD with V27 OS in it....then let it upgrade....the screen will go blank for about 5-10 seconds, then you'll see the upgrade screen....upgrading software.....then it will pop out the CD on its own....you should remove the CD....go back in the car and press "OK" to reboot the NAV system....when it is loaded up, then put back in your DVD Map disk.

Then press "Menu"....go to Setting....if you see SW 4-1/70, then you have V27 loaded up....However, now you'll have to hold on the MENU button for about 5-10 seconds....now you are in the "service menu" and using the right knob and turn it all the way to the bottom (it will scroll) and you'll see "Perspective"....select it and turn it on and then hit your MENU button to escape.

Now, you can go select "Perspective" in the Map positioning option.

the Update didnt work on my Mk4

Burned 4x on 3 diffrent CDs.

I get the Message "Incorrect CD in navigation Computer. Please insert appropriate CD."

Thanks for this update , I did it without any problem. I even change the logo and put in the Dutch language. The only thing I regret is that I now lost the GB language because my menu shows me " GB - F - D " ( GB= English & F= French & D = German) and at first I changed the French language to the Dutch but the whole menu stays in French and since I do not understand or can read this language I was forced to do it to the English language. Is there a possibility to change the menu that it for example shows me " GB - US - D " and I can change the GB or US in Dutch and keep also the English language ?

Here at Russia, i have a problem with Megaupload. They have only 500 slots for all Russia. This slots are always busy. My antivirus doesnt give me to download megaupload adware (they promise, that with adware there will be no slots limit), so, before uninstalling AV, i decided to ask here, if someone could upload it to my fast FTP, please, write me PM. Thank you.

I gotta ask... what good is v27 with perspective view? That view has no street names other than major highways. Admittedly the view looks cool, but i find it completely useless. Are there plans to add street names to it? (at least the upcoming streets in the direction you are traveling)

I am having problems with Mega upload?? It says that my IP address is downloading but nothing is happening, I tried to go back and try again but it is telling me my download limit is exceeded? Anyone got any pointers??

Fantastic Stuff, Downloaded quick and is running in 3d perspective mode in my 2001 E39 M5. Was up at 8am on a Sunday morning doing this!!! First in UK??
