No, there is another menu you access through the settings menu. When in settings push and hold the menu button until the hidden menu appears scroll to the bottom and select perspective then just turn it on and enjoy

Oh, Question. I noticed on my way to work that in "perspective view" it doesnt really show any road names except major ones. Is this normal? I kinda miss see'ing road names before I approach them. Not on my drive to work necessairly, but when traveling. Is there any way to change this?

easy enough :)

Yes normal, the video driver can't render all the names in 3d, so only the main roads and "some" others get rendered.

Don't use perspective, use 2d that way you see all the names as before.

Guys i just had a silly question. Previously when i had the really old version for my dvd nav it showed me restaurants on the map with little icons and also gas stations but now it doesnt show them. All i did was upgrade to V29.1

Any ideas how to get these icons back cos they were really useful. thanks.

They are preloaded as POIS (points of Interest), you need to select them in the POI menu :)

I'm interested as well, all I ever remember seeing was hotels, prior to upgrading. I'm see'ing nothing now, but I thought it might be the same reason why I dont see all the street names, because I'm in perspective mode...
