Fine that you could determinate the reason !

Now it's also clear why it "sometimes" worked: a transistor also works the other way round (bad, but it does)

Tomorrow I "MUST" try the "Code Defaults" funktion to recode an MK3 from color-Screen for an E46 with radio nav.

Good work  KiwiJochen, Great peace of software.
Win 98ME works fine, very fast with 100ms.

After the interface was ok, I changed the language.
This does not change the MID language.

Is there a way to change the language of the MID?

If there is anything to test, I volunteer.

Tell me what car you have and what language it is now, and what language you want. I'll send you the command to change language of the Car (and then MID will change too)

I have navi in Dutch.
The MID was not recognized by navcoder.
Car is E39 from 2002

MID is currently German and would like to have Dutch.

Thanks in advance

Hmmm... as far as I know the MID supports 6 languages only, with GB, US, DE, FR, IT and ES

Have you ever seen a NL car with a NL MID in Dutch?
I'm not sure Dutch language was built into the MIDs memory

Do you have Navi and MID in the same car?
I've never seen that combination, but I believe it is theoretically possible... with navi in front and MID in the read (in which case in becomes FMID)

Hi, I am new to the X5World forum and am planning to fit NAV to my X5.

I have been reading a bit about the NavCoder and have a few questions. I don't quite know what it is or how to connect to my Nav to use NavCoder, is there an explanation somewhere on the forum, thanks.

The MID is in the dashboard. With Carsoft I can change the language, but I can't see from which part.
Situation is like this:
Navi : Female dutch
Navi : Menu, Partly dutch, partly English
MID : German.

I can''t remember that I have seen a car with Dutch MID, perhaps I shall visit a dealer, just to take a look.

If there is any news, I would like to hear it.

I cannot understand how you can have MID and Navigation in the E39 - there is no option in the parts list for this.
The E39 is delivered either with MID or with navigation.
You cannot have both.
Both the MID and the navigation occupy the same place in the dash above the heater controls.

Please post a photo of your 'MID' - you may be referring to something else by mistake.
