e65/e66 how to change language? Is this same folder as mk4 ?
hi,

I have one question about e65/66 , in which folder in Software v31 I can find file "navboot" for BMW e65/e66 to change for example: SPLASH SCREEN, LANGUAGE etc. Is this same folder ...V2\RR\0101\BMWC01S\app_sw\ as for mk4?

Hi everyone as a noobie here just had to stop buy and say thanks.
Yesterday i found this forum and soon got interested in the navigation topics,over the last few weeks i seem to have fell out love with my x5,so i've had a trawl around the dealers and to be honest i haven't been that impressed with whats on offer and what they'll give me back for my x5,so i'm trying to rekindle my passion with a few updates and a few mods,so yesterday i managed to make an os disc(thanks appy)and installed it,then i added the perspective view to it and i am feeling a lot better about my car now and this is down to YOU so thanks.
All i need to do now is to find some new alloys and get myself an updated maps disc and think of a couple of more things i can do to make my car feel like a new vechicle again.
So once again i thank you!

It is in Mode2 but did you checked when you started to burn that it going to be burned as Mode2? Some programes (MagicISO for example) starts to burn any image as Mode1 as a default and if you did not change this default setting to which you require it would be burned in Mode1

Then, did you made the verification of the disk after burning? And...?

Yes I know about it, I checked mode, and I burn in mode2, but I didnt make verification :|

In principle on such speeds should not be too much errors..... Sorry then... I don't know

Never work on principles or guesses.

Burn then measure and test. It is the only way to be 100% certain the CD is OK.

I did not make any conclusions saying this.... Just supposed that in this part should not be a problem..... But of course this could be not like this and something went wrong during burning and some burning errors could present! To be sure on 100% of course could be ONLY after burning once again and to make the verification!

ajlb asked the question "WHY". Nobody here knows EXACTLY why this happens. I supposed that during burning problems should not appear but there is no 100% assuranse
