Well, thanks for the d/l link... but have a problem.. Downloaded, burned with nero at slowest speed, poped the cd in, screen flickered for a few seconds, went blank, I sat there waited for 30 minutes, nothing... ejected the cd, now the NAV computer is dead, its an MKIII on '01 740iL. Any help appreciated... tried several older cd's that used before, but nothing... ;| Want to revive it... *sob* somehow... any thoughts or ideas.. thanks!!

First job is to get the CD out, try pressing and holding the eject button for a long time, that sometimes works. If that fails (after maybe 10 minutes holding the button) try pressing it rapidly for about 1 minute. Next job is to get an ISO Mode 2 firmware disk, the current firmware may have been wiped. |

I want to upgrade my nav to this new version, but am worried about skipping revs. I am at 1-4/20 right now. Can I skip straight to 30 or 31?
