Is it possible to code monochrome MK2 to color version?

KiwiJochen 09-10-2008 12:14 PM

No, the Mk2 has different internal hardware for Mono or Colour.

Is there going to be a newer Nav coder out soon?
Also if I buy a activation key, will this work for all new futire release?

I am witing for my Resler to come through the post, there is a slight delay on it at the moment but looking forward to trying it out :)

Jochen updates the software frequently - when he finds out how to do new cool things :D

The activation key will work on all updates - once registered just download the latest version when he posts it.

Well worth the wait and more than worth the registration fee.

Amen to that!

aldo - using one small aspect of Jochen's NavCoder as an example, ie enabling TV in motion, you can buy an ugly ass TV in motion lead from the internet for £50 or so, or activate it with a simple tick in a box in NavCoder for €20 and have a whole lot of other functions to play with.

It's all you'll ever need, no question.

MKII monos have different P/Ns I think from color ones. Solution, upgrade to MKIII or MKIV.

Thanks trapdoor. What you say is 100% correct :-)

The best feature it enabled for me was the voice control. I think that cost several hundered(£s) as a dealer option. I use it all the time now.

My Interface is being shipped tomorrow, so hopefully by end of week I will have and then it will just be a case of working to get it connected to the IBUS cable itself and playing about with the software :)
