Thanks ccfj1
Just thought I'd say many thanks for some terrific work on the new "modded v.32" ROM from ccfj1.
I flashed my MK4 with the new ROM and it looks great! Now it's time too look into modding the DL map DVD for speedcamera warnings... Thanks again. |
Glad it's all working mate.

btw. I tried a number of CDs, but all the better ones (like Verbatim, Sony, etc) didnt work, and finally I succeeded with EMTEC, which is not a very popular brand I guess, but still it's the only one working with my MK4 :) |

My wife has just got a round to forgiving me...(it took diamonds). Hopefully Nomad will come to the rescue and unlock the palette that holds the text value, (the mk3 already has an unlocked text palette). Quote:

Hallo everybody and a special CIAO to ccfj1 :D
I am back after a while as I was busy with my job. I see that works are still in progress with the v32 and I have a question: has the problem with the night street names been solved? If I remember correctly it was not possible to see the street names with night display. I did my own version of navoboot but I did not actually checked it. ANy news. :dunno: BTW, I fully modded my map dvd with personal menu display and POI categories, all done manually editing the .lsc file and all the related .sf and .se files. It was a hell of job but IT WORKS great!!! |

You use a mode2/form1 disc and hope you have not broken the drive.
There is a Range rover version in this thread somewhere, (in mode 2/form1), use that. Make sure that the RR version does not have the same version number that you have used. |
