I don't know who you Pm'd mate but it wasn't me, anyway check your PM.

Please make sure you have read and understood the caveats of installing this OS before you install it.

P.S you still need the modded map disc for the alerts to work properly, the OS is just to set the mk4 up into being able to use it, the map disc still holds the camera DB.

Follow the update procedure and all should go well.

long time lurker and already have the audible alerts in my z4m from when this was first achieved.

presumably then this is a straight swap as my 2009-1 dvd already shows me cams and beeps (a little too much).

want this to turn them off, then will spend some time remaking a newer map disk and redo my splash screens, etc.

Yes that should be ok then as long as the map disc has tha cameras added by poison, then you are good to go.

Remember the default is "on", "off" is only a temporary solution, (unless you recode your mk4 to UK,USA, GER).

I think, both of these have the mods you need, I don't have time to make a custom one up, but if you hit trouble let me know.

BTW I'm not sure if these are for the mk3, I think they are for the mk4 only, so don't install these if you have a mk3.

Yes, both the custom versions are outside the OEM number range, so if you don't like the custom stuff. put the v31 in and you will be OEM again.

thanks i downloaded the file but i got 3 files.. so i hve to just burn the 3 files to a cd and insert it to my mk4. its not a .iso file correct. thanks.

No mate don't do that it wont work.

Use imgburn and open the .cue file, then burn on a cd at the slowest speed rated for the disc.
