NAV V25 file

Hello,
just joined this forum after searching the net for V25 since about 5 weeks. The guys at bmwnavigation.com still have the corrupt file on their server, obviously nobody is doing anything about it. Can anyone here help me with a link to a working V25 file? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks, jass56

Nav Os V25

I just wanted to thank Jeff for his quick response!!!!!

I updated my MKIV to V25 (got it used at ebay) and had it coded at the BMW shop, now finally I can turn off the traffic control messages, but therefor I lost the splitscreen on the radio/CD view. Tried to downgrade and upgrade again (V24), then I had the splitscreen back but lost the function of the INFO button again, in the service menue it showed "7er" (E38), I guess thats where the nav was built in before. Does anyone have a solution for this? The mechanic told me, my oldgen radio professional and the MKIV do not work together, but I hope there is a way to get it going.

Yes I do and when I decompress the file and burn it using cloneCD the disc can't be read in the Mk 3 computer. Do you know a good site to get vs. 24.1? All the sites listed on this page time out for me.
Thanks

You can try http://bmwnavigation.com/software/Na.../v24_1_iso.rar

Also note that for a MkIII, any disk V22 or higher will take you to the most recent rev level for that nav unit, which is 3-1/63

Hi, can I get a PM for link on v25 as well, UCrewX5. If that's alright?

And, do you need to burn the program into a DVD for the MKIV to run? Or just normal CD will do?

Thanx for the help. :)

The V25 image files, zipped and in CloneCD format, can be downloaded at this link - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=02GKUQO5

Be sure to use quality CD-R media and burn at the lowest possible speed. Also note that there are risks to doing the upgrade on your own, so do so knowing that risk is present. Although rare, problems can occur if update steps aren't followed properly or there are issues with the media. Such conditions can cause problems with the nav drive which may not be recoverable.

Thanx for the link UCrewX5. Looks like the download will take a...very long while :)

Just another question, it doesn't matter if my cars in Australia right? As you know, I recently had the problems with homelink that I'd brought from US and still haven't got it working yet. I'd contacted the people Homelink and waiting for their replies now. And waiting to see if it'll ever work on my unit.

No, it shouldn't matter that your vehicle is "Down Under". The disk is universal and has the language packs that go along with whatever your vehicle is currenly coded for.

BTW, I sent you a PM.

Jeff
