That is from cdc.gov.
From Washington Post at the END of January:

After rebuffing U.S. offers, China asks for CDC's help to investigate Wuhan virus
There are literally 1000s of examples. The phrase did not originate in the orange to English dictionary. It’s very sad that somehow that’s what many people think. That fact (attributed to 45) is literally exactly what he referred to as the “democratic hoax” and sadly very accurate.
Dennis Miller said a brilliant thing about racism: “it’s just being lazy: get to know somebody and discover a hundred reasons not the color of their skin to hate them”. Reminds me of blacks playing the race cars when it doesn’t apply. Blacks do not get an “unlimited free pass “ to be an asshole without being called on it and I’m glad that some black people of high regard have pointed this out. Those people are diluting the actual hate it helps nobody.
So going in circles here because it has not set in:
As far as I’m aware there are only two aliases for the virus that causes COVID-19 and one was perfectly ok for all forms of media to use until the end of January.
I will be very kind and use the term “silly” to come up with a non descriptive alias once a descriptive one has been used by tens of thousands of reporters reaching billions of people.

Covid-19, Corona virus and virus to the general public all mean the same thing, the disease. I don't know why anybody but the scientists care about the name of the virus. What name for the virus was established by reporters?
