It looks like your DHCP, DNS, and MAC settings are okay.

Are there any other wireless cards operating on the network? Sometimes 2 different wireless card brands will cause conflicts with each other. Are you running a card with a different brand than the router? Check to see if the router is set on Turbo G or Speed Boost settings (all are proprietary settings). Try a standard "G" setting.

Did you check your WEPS and WPA settings?

This is wierd. I forgot that I had a static ip assigned on my laptop. I set it to automatically aquire ip and now it just goes on "aquiring network address."

Try a release & renew of the IP Address assigned to the router. That worked for me!

What's super wierd, is that the router is a Belkin, but the setup page is all linksys. I don't see any hint of wireless settings. I don't see any option to release or renew the dhcp.

what the hell? hacked firmware? best thing i say is unplug the modem and then reset the using the small button the the back, then unplug that, and turn off u labtop. let them sit like that for 5 mins, then turn on the modem, then router, then the labtop.

I'm gonna try that again. If you go to 192.168.1.1 it takes you to a linksys router settings page. If you go to 192.168.2.1 it goes to a belkin page...total wierdness.

windows start, run, cmd, ipconfig /release. ipconfig /renew all should do the trick.

Very weird. Are you trying to access the router from your laptop? You might be bringing up some cached HTML setup pages stored on your HD for a hardwired router that you previously accessed. Try accessing the router from another PC.

are you possibly seeing a router in the area that belong to somebody else?
