Are there any other wireless cards operating on the network? Sometimes 2 different wireless card brands will cause conflicts with each other. Are you running a card with a different brand than the router? Check to see if the router is set on Turbo G or Speed Boost settings (all are proprietary settings). Try a standard "G" setting. Did you check your WEPS and WPA settings? |

Try a release & renew of the IP Address assigned to the router. That worked for me!

What's super wierd, is that the router is a Belkin, but the setup page is all linksys. I don't see any hint of wireless settings. I don't see any option to release or renew the dhcp.

windows start, run, cmd, ipconfig /release. ipconfig /renew all should do the trick.

Very weird. Are you trying to access the router from your laptop? You might be bringing up some cached HTML setup pages stored on your HD for a hardwired router that you previously accessed. Try accessing the router from another PC.
I wish I could help you more with your problem, Vignesh, but I'm about 4 hours late for work.... Golf got in the way of work this morning. |
