Ethnic Food

Ok So I really am on this kick to try new food, I am a health nut so no cream sauces or deep friend anything, must be low-fat

so far I love Indian food because you can get steamed veggies in an awesome but non-fatty sauce

anyone have suggestions on different food groups and what do order?

I'm a big fan of Thai food. It's kind of like a cross between Chinese and Indian (which makes sense considering Thailand's location)

Thai is good. How about Japanese food? Sushi is the bomb but there are cooked items that are good.

Does the stuff they have at the local Japanese restaurants count as real Japanese food - you know, the places where the cooks cook right at your table with 6 other people you don't know? I'm talking about the fillet, chicken, and shrimp. I forget what the actually call it on the menu. That stuff doesn't seem to have too much fat on it, I think they cook it in soybean oil. I really enjoy those dishes, regardless of their authenticity... Actually, given how much I like this stuff, I'm sure it must be bad for me...

Middle Eastern and Greek foods are gonna be among the healthiest out there- lots of it is grilled and not a lot of cream or butter, but plenty of olive oil and lean cuts of meat and seafood.

I know there's a market in SD that sells great middle eastern/mediterranean foods, Kearny Mesa I think.

Hibachi is not completely wrong either. It originally refers to small charcoal heating device imported from China in olden days. (Most likely Japanese will claim it is their invention.) Yes, it is mother of indoor grill top cooking.

I have not mounted (or be mounted by) all the different ethnic women. Even if I did I won't be bragging about it. However, I have tried food from many different continents that is legal and nowadays I tend to resort to Japnese cusine for it's simplicity and availability despite the fact that it is several times more expensive than American fast food counter part. The added benefit will be it won't give you Herpes few weeks later unlike unidentified eithnic woman.Another point here is that diversity is wonderful!
