53% of marriages end in divorce. Takes more than unconditional love to make it work..Commitment and understanding..I see couples argue and split over the stupidest things. You have to KNOW who you marry, and know that they cant change you and you cant change them. SIMPLE.

As far as the upgrading, and checking out the "other ones", nothing you can do about it. Doesnt matter HOW hot you are, his eyes will ALWAYS wander....

Very sad statistic...

Being someone that is divorced, I more than know it takes more than unconditional love to make it work... but if you have that kind of love, which most of us don't even comprehend this day and age... the commitment, understanding, patience, etc. all falls into place. IMO.

And couldn't agree more... people marry for many of the wrong reasons, and don't know who they are marrying. Its what happened to me. Married at a very young age, and grew to be someone else than the person I was when I said my vows.

Amen. I see this ALL the time. I try to caution friends of mine from doing this, but sometimes it best to let people be. Space is one of the most important things to respect as well. Ever known a couple who met at work? NEVER lasts. When its time to go out with my friends for a beer, I go. When my wife wants to spend my paycheck with friends in the mall, she goes. Its a beautiful thing....
