Any experience with Polywatch?

I had an encounter with a friend's overzealous dog and subsequently had several scratches in the crystal of my schweet chocolate brown Tag Monaco. The watchmaker at a local jewelry store buffed the scratches out for free, but, while doing some research I came across this "Polywatch" stuff online. Does anyone have any experience with this product? Is it worth it? I anticipate more scratches as the crystal's made of Perspex (which is a clear acrylic like substance), and I've been infiormed that the crystal can't be replaced with that of the men's automatic version which is sapphire.
Thanks in advance!

I wouldn't do it...

post a question or do a search on www.watchuseek.com or www.timezone.com

I did a search as you suggested, and a number of people actually advocate its use. Thanks a bunch!

I bet that doesn't happen very often! One of my favourite statements (which I use a lot), is from Charles Barkley: "I may be wrong, but I doubt it!" (I also think it's the title of his book).

Polywatch is one of the recommended products to use for polishing acrylic watch crystals (there are other similar products, but Polywatch is probably the most common brand for use on watch crystals). It does a nice job taking out minor scratches and hazing. I use it regularly on the acrylic crystal of my Omega Speedmaster whenever it gets a scratch.
