Hey Ken -

I think we need a bigger stand...

HAHAHHAHAAAA!!!!! lol

Yeah, everyone... we realize that the stand is too small... we bought it on Friday night, and then left town Saturday night. Won't be returning to my place until NEXT Monday... So the stand wasn't a big deal... we wanted to look, because as you can tell, I just moved into that place, and its still bare on that wall... wanted to make the right furniture/stand choice

And all I have to say, is that it is freaking MUCH bigger than it looked in the store!

But I am tickled

That's not a wall mountable model, I think it's like 12-14" thick.

That is an EXCELLENT choice Ken and Nicole. Definitely get the Sony stand that is made for it. Yes, they are expensive, but they are worth it!!! I think Uncle Motor got the 60" version for his starter shack in FL and raves about it.

Haven't shopped there, but THIS would go perfect with the hutch in the dining room

Think we'll probably just go with the Sony stand unless we find something she really likes. Just so much to buy on top of the TV... $399 for the added maintenance

Good place accella recommended- excellent cust. service and they just partnered with Home Depot.

Even though it sounds like a name for a pRon site, http://www.standsandmounts.com/ has some good choices for TV stands. You'll want to be sure to get a stand no taller than 24" to keep optimum viewing height to the SXRD while seated.

Speaking of pRon...it'll look awesome on that TV Just remember not to leave you & Nicole's home movies out when company comes over, unless the company is from Adult Friend Finder or something
