And large Jewish populations are accepted in Israel? Sure doesn't seem like it. IMO, Israel was established because of a 'guilt' feeling held by the USA and Britain for not doing more in the 30's to prevent such action. I also don't believe he was trying to explain "where" they should go as much as answering the question of "why" are the surrounding areas so hostile.

I absolutely agree that yes it was due to guilt held by the US and Britain. Why they chose that area I couldnt answer, maybe it was easiest established or easier to oust the previous owners. However as for the hostilities i think we dont need to go into that since we didnt take anyone's land here in the US and yet they come here to blow us up. I agree that yes it was dictated that its their land but i think before asking why he should have suggested a where.

That's a given. The two sides will NEVER agree. People have to stop saying "well if we debate and discuss enough..." it isn't going to happen. The world needs to accept that and then make a decision.

He tells it like he THINKS it is. One local talk show host summed it up this way.
-First off, the one man traveling Latin comic act Hugo Chavez keeps the one-liners coming. One day after calling President George W. Bush “the devil” during his speech at the United Nations General Assembly, he continued his verbal assault on the president while touring a neighborhood in Harlem. The Venezuelan president visited a Harlem church today and promised to double the amount of discounted heating oil his country ships to needy Americans. But he also took another swipe at President Bush--Chavez said of the president: "He's an alcoholic and a sick man." Offering up free heating oil to the poor people of Harlem is a clever tactic, but it covers up the immense poverty that Mr. Chavez has in his own Venezuelan backyard. Major kudos for Rep. Charlie Rangel, the very liberal Congressman who represents Manhattan, who said that an attack on the American president was an attack on all Americans. Take it one step further and suggest that Americans seriously consider boycotting the gas company Citgo, which is the state-owned Venezuelan oil company. But my final comment is it seems ironic that Mr. Chavez can come to this country an freely make comments as he has. But try that in his country and see where it will get you. Quote:
