I could care less how you look at me.....
Everyone is entitled of their own opinion, however as long as I can remember stereotyping has never been a trait of human intelligence.

Do you really think I have the time to do what he's suggesting to do just to convince you guys that all Muslim are not terrorists, come let's be real here.
You know what, if the two of you with all the travel experience that you have, I'm sure have crossed more than enough millions of respectful and peaceful Muslims, are still thinking this way. I don't think it's going to be someone from a car forum that's going to make you understand that out of the +1 billion Muslim in the world, less than 0.5% are committing these acts.

Come to think of it I couldn't expect any less coming from (stereotyping) someone like you!

Peace.

Less than .5% are committing these acts yet the other 99.5% are standing and watching while they commit them. I didnt mean for you to go and create a site nor do I care for a site but instead of saying dont group us together provide an alternative. We are not stereotyping we are using cold hard facts, how come the Pope is now all of a sudden an evil person because he merely regurgitated what someone once said? the entire population decided to rise up and burn the Papal figure and you want to tell me this is not evil. Yet the president piece of shit that he is of iran makes a statement the Holocaust never happened and thats all hunky dory with them right? and then you say its .5% thats bull crap try more like 50% including 75% here in the United States in OUR home land in OUR country that gave THEM a life and they have the nerve to speak up against us and committ these acts against us? wake up and smell the anthrax because thats whats going to happen if we dont stop them.

He tells it like he THINKS it is. One local talk show host summed it up this way.

-First off, the one man traveling Latin comic act Hugo Chavez keeps the one-liners coming. One day after calling President George W. Bush “the devil” during his speech at the United Nations General Assembly, he continued his verbal assault on the president while touring a neighborhood in Harlem. The Venezuelan president visited a Harlem church today and promised to double the amount of discounted heating oil his country ships to needy Americans. But he also took another swipe at President Bush--Chavez said of the president: "He's an alcoholic and a sick man."

Offering up free heating oil to the poor people of Harlem is a clever tactic, but it covers up the immense poverty that Mr. Chavez has in his own Venezuelan backyard. Major kudos for Rep. Charlie Rangel, the very liberal Congressman who represents Manhattan, who said that an attack on the American president was an attack on all Americans. Take it one step further and suggest that Americans seriously consider boycotting the gas company Citgo, which is the state-owned Venezuelan oil company.

But my final comment is it seems ironic that Mr. Chavez can come to this country an freely make comments as he has. But try that in his country and see where it will get you.

Actually my friend 99% of the human race does this. Just think about it. There are a lot of folks who live the part and the rest of us watch the show and enjoy it. It's a part of life. Most of us however just don't want to admit it.

my point exactly he comes to the country where free speech is allowed says all his bullshit against the very people that help make this country allow free speech and then goes home. Now have Bush go there and say something like this and the whole world will revolt against us. where is the justice?

Well, there must be a lot of people being killed there then, because almost all of the media in Venezuela is against Chavez. All of the newspapers and television stations are owned by the same large corporations that are against his socialist policies, and they were the ones who helped to organize the recall election of 2 years ago.

Yet, I have not read any reports of opposition being killed or jailed except for those who tried to overthrow the government in the 2002 coup. But then again, most of them have not been jailed either as they have been given assylum in the United States.

I wonder what would happed if Venezuela had given political assylum to a group that had tried to overthrow the government of the United States. What do you think we would have done?

Oh wait....nevermind....ignore that question....I forgot, but I can't possibly compare Venezuela to the United States. Silly me....

The difference is that Venezuela has done nothing but good deeds all around the world the last several years. Name one thing they have done to any country other that can be characterized as "bad". The same cannot be said for the United States.

Last night I heard a radio talk-show caller say that he heard that Venezuela had made a deal with Iran for Iran to open up a military base in Venezuela. The caller and the talk-show host discussed it and both concluded that this means that both countries are "up to something" and perhaps plotting an attack on someone.

Apparently the United States is the only country allowed to open military bases in other countries around the world. When anyone else does it, it must mean they are "plotting something".

(BTW, I'm not sure if there was any truth to that story of Iran opening a base in Venezuela. It could just be right wing radio propoganda)
