Most plasma mounts I have seen are very easy to install. Mine took about 30 minutes and you could probably hang your body weight from it.
Do you have an AC outlet below the panel? This product is a quick and easy way to get AC up to the panel as well as your AV wiring: http://www.panamax.com/products.cfm?...il&id=221&ly=h There are several versions of that one, and other brands too. |

Damn...Thanks! However, I should have asked this question years ago..
That would have been perfect, but I dont want to have to knock a wall down or something to route wires like in the pic..I dont think I have a choice concerning running the power and component wires outside of the wall, so basically I'm just looking for the best way to "hide" them. What are those white skinny boxes that run along the walls in offices to hide telephone wires and stuff? If they came in different sizes, that might work...

You can buy conduit that is very flat against the wall, and paintable if you wish, to hide the wires on the outside of the wall. Here is some with channels to separate wiring. http://www.hometech.com/techwire/wir....html#SB-WS12T
Installing the boxes like you show is just two cuts on the sheetrock, 5 minutes. Then you fish the wires through. Couldn't be any simpler. |

I agree with Jay, if you don't want to fool with this just get an electrician to install an AC outlet behind the panel and install a 2" conduit in the wall that exits by your AV gear. I was quoted $250 for this work when I was considering it. Then all you have to do it buy a good mount. |
