If you were a "media" owner, which story would you put at the top today? My take is that the top story is what the "media" feels will attract the most attention - that's the #1 criteria - not what's most important - that doesn't make money.

Without a doubt it would not be the Anna Nicole Smith story. My whole contention is what we receive from MOST of the media is not news but sound bites. For example just take Anna Nicole Smith. What was her real name? That's the problem. If she was really news and was reported in any depth that report would have been over long ago. I remember when news was reported in depth and people could depend on it for a reasonable amount of facts. Gone is the provision of factual news coverage. Now replaced with greed.
