undergrad--Univ of South Alabama (Mobile)
grad--Univ of Alabama in Birmingham I turned down scholarships at several well-known schools for my BS, in favor of staying close to home. It was the right decision for me, at the time. Lots of factors to consider, besides the cachet of any particular school.
