Soon to be home owner looking for what are the bare essentials items to have?
17' Little Giant Ladder System Dyson "The Ball" Total Clean Vaccum Char-broil Gas Grill with 45 Burger Capacity, Yippy!! Tools and Cover Craftsman 10" Circular Saw Craftsman 10" Silding Compound Miter Saw (handy for Crown moldings) Craftsman Cordless Drill/Flash Light Combo Kitchen Aid Mixer (Gift) Folding Chair and Table Porter Cable Compressor with 3 Nailer/Staple Combo What else do you guys use alot. I was thinking lawn mower but not sure how much lawn we will have so Maybe a rider or a self-propelled. I guess we will wait on that one. We've been thinking maybe a weed wacker?

I just went through this:
Window coverings, huge expense, plan this one out. I had to cover 16 windows, most double wide. shelving for storage areas painting supplies? (are you painting before you move in?) rugs? new furniture light fixtures wall hangings patio furniture pots/pans/daily use silverware dishes appliances? clothes washer/dryer, dishwasher, oven, grill, fridge, microwave

Sounds like you're into grills - mine is fairly low end but it's a natural gas grill as opposed to propane. I teed it off of my gas pool heater. LOVE not having to deal with the bottles....
The other stuff you have on your list is great but the one tool that I probably use most (actually I have two of them) is my DeWalt cordless drill. The DeWalt is great but I'm not happy with the batteries. They don't seem to want to take a charge after only about a year or two of use. I think I'm going to try the new Craftsman cordless drill with a lithium battery next. Oh, and don't get a low voltage one - 14.4 minimum. EDIT: Duh - I just noticed you already have a cordless drill listed there!

Painting supplies, I didn't think of that.
Don't most home come with the major appliances? I'm sure they would need updating but hopefully they will hold up for the first year or so. Also the grill we bought can be coverted to natural gas. So thats still an option :]

My dream house would have a heated/air conditioned garage big enough to wash my X in, and in indoor heated pool.
My current garage is heated and air conditioned, but it's tiny. My pool is heated, but it's outside and I only get to use it about 3.5 months a year around here...

Yea, I'm looking for an end of the season bargins. My father bought a New 10Hp for $500 with a coupon and a discount for signing up with a Home Depot card. I went there the next day and they were gone.

You need a workbench of some sort. You can buy simple ones at Lowe's or Home Depot that you put together. Cabinets and drawers to hold nails, screws, etc.
In other words, go to a hardware/home supply store and just go up and down the aisles!
