The only drawback I've found thus far, is all the fingerprints on the case. The one thing that works really well at cleaning them off, and getting your Macbook back to its original form, is the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.
The "Magic Eraser" is truly Magical! I always have a few around . I didn't realize the black one was $200 more, damn

The black case is NOT $200 more. If you configure the white one to have the same hardware as the black one, the black one ends up costing $50 more. So yes, there is a premium on the black one, but only $50.

Not sure what Greg's reason is, but for me part of the appeal of the Macbook is it's small size and easy portability. Currently I have a Dell Insperon 6000 and while it's a great laptop and has a nice big 15.4" screen, it's really too big to comfortably work with it on your lap, and it's a bit heavy to lug around places. The Macbook is so tiny yet has a very nice size screen for its size. The Pro is more like what I currently have, just the Apple version.

Do not use Magic Eraser on your Macbook!

When you get your beautiul Black Macbook, stay with a damp cloth to clean the shell. Magic Erasers could damage the surface.

BTW, excellent choice. I have the black one too. It gets a lot of attention at Starbucks and Airports.

I've used it (the Magic Cleaner) approximately once/month since I've had the Macbook, without an issue. In fact, I did a search on what to use prior to making an attempt to clean the case, and the Magic Eraser was lauded on multiple Mac forums as THE cleaner to use. The other option mentioned on multiple forums is the iKlear cleaner, which is available at the Apple store.

Thanks for the confirmation of my choice! Could you or Alpine Rasta please take a close up pic of the keyboard for me? Apple's gallery is not that clear on the keyboard shot.

Thanks in advance.

Pay no attention to the fingerprints on the keyboard, I haven't had a chance to clean it yet this month. I have also included before and after pics showing the Magic Eraser's prowess!
Hope this helps!
