Jail-bound Hilton reflective
 She said "I am really scared but I am ready to do this and I hope that I am an example to other young people." She said she chose to serve her time at a county jail "to show that I can do it and I want to be treated like everyone else and if I am going to do the time I am going to do it the right way." The past few weeks have "completely changed my life. I have had a lot of time alone to think and to reflect on my life and realize what is most important. And even though it is a scary thing, I am using it in a positive way, and when I come out I can't wait to start my new life and be even stronger than I am now." She said that reading the Bible "is helping me a lot" and added: "I have had a lot of time to reflect on my life and have been reading a lot. I think Paris is and has been out of control for a while. I hope that she takes this little time in jail as a wake-up call. She's an easy target to pick on, but I truly hope that jail really does 'help' her clean up her act. Isn't rehabillitation and deterent effect 2 of the 3 main purposes of the justice system? (Punishment is the other main purpose).
I agree with her, that her going to jail will/may have an impact on other young people.

They should lock her up and throw away the key B

not to split hairs or say it's not a big deal, but lets be honest..
She was not OVER the limit on her DUI charge, she was, AT THE LIMIT. Which I believe is about one drink per hour for an avg. size adult. She probably drank about 3/4's of a drink at her size and got the dui. No that does not excuse it... But my point is, this girl's life is under a microscope... I'm not saying she didn't do wrong.. But is she really, "out of control" as Nupe says? Ohhh so she made a sex tape. Who the hell hasn't. -- Mine were shot from the closet my sophomore year at OSU. They were grainy, poorly lit, and on Svhs tapes, -- but my point is, anyone who hasn't made a sex tape at some point or another is either a prude or doesn't own a camcorder. And just to look at the bigger picture. She has now done more time than OJ Simpson. B
