No. IMO that is a dumb and ignorant argument. The oil is not controlled by the terrorists. The oil is controlled by the dictatorships that Al-Queda is trying to overthrow and by large western corporations. If you buy oil, you are not helping out the terrorists. You are helping out the large multinational corporations and the dictatorships that oppose human rights and Al-Queda. If anything, buying oil is helping to increase western influence in the Middle East.

Yay large corporations! And Dictators against Al-Queda! Yay capitalism!

Back on point I wont ever drive a hybrid...if for no other reason then I hate enviornmentalists and all of the uSheep fanboy types with thier Pious, iBook, iPhone and all this other pseudo green crap (solar powered laptop bag, cardboard i book case etc) that these annoying urbanites read about in Dwell while buying terra passes for thier loft apartment because Al Gore said that it would save the enviornment and sneering at me when I have a fucking cigarette because I am "making the earth cry" or some shit god I hate people.
