If Blackberry was offering a price match you would be the first one trying to get yours correct? So what's the problem.

I'm saying, I don't think Apple should have done it

Which probably means less than $25 actual cost to Apple!

I ordered a new iPod for my son last week, off the iTunes store online. 30 GB regular iPod. When Apple announced the new ones, he got a bit upset that he missed out. I checked online to see if I could cancel the order, and get the newer 80 GB iPod instead. WOW! Apple had automatically changed the order to the 80 GB iPod Classic for the same price as the originally-ordeded 30 GB! That is customer service! Should arrive in a couple of days.

It seems Apple takes real good care of it's customer base. I think that this is the way to go and every other manufacturer needs to learn from them. I guess in automobile industry, Lexus is the same. No wonder the die hard fans keep going back to companies like these for their future purchases. Apple has done a wonderful job and Microsoft needs to learn a thing or two from them really.

PS: I still hate Vista.

Boy genius is not exactly correct when he says "their Buyer’s Assurance program stopped almost a year ago, and it makes no difference what sort of card you have." That's incorrect. Buyer’s Assurance program is in effect but it only doubles your warranty (see exclusions) on products you buy. It says nothing regarding price matching or refunds regarding items purchased and later found cheaper elsewhere.
