I have had the time where I'm like "I ain't lettin this Prius in.........I want to get to my destination before the sun burns up". But that usually isn't the case. However, I DO judge more on age/maturity in their driving. I get a kick out of annoying teenagers driving recklessly. I'll close the gap between cars, I'll highbeam those who change lanes 3mm from my front bumper, I'll drive just barely over te speed limit.........anything to piss those stupid, immature people off. (not at the cost of other drivers though, only to piss the teens off)

Highbeem those who change lanes in front of you close huh? What if they use their blinker and they have to change lanes anyway? I've had to do that before and usually when someone or anyone highbeems me for any reason they get the middle finger salute from yours truly as long as it takes until i feel like they've seen me do it....And as far as immature drivers go..well I let them do what they want as long as its not near me..I don't need to play road games with some kid who's car isn't worth nearly as much as mine...

If suspect they gonna merge and slow me down, no way I'm letting them do it. People would force to get in front of you and decide to slow you down. 495 is a jungle out here, it's survival if the fastest. See my DC thread .

LOL! Sometimes when I'm merging onto the highway, I look behind me and think "Oh, it's a Prius. They can't be doing than 40 or so. It's safe to merge" And then I nail it and leave some nice exhaust for them to breathe

I agree. These kids think they can run all over the place. When I say "change lanes on my bumper", I really mean they do a lane change that is unsafe and clearly reckless. Signalling one blink while you're cutting someone off is NOT signalling. Primetime, why do I get the feeling that you're one of those who weaves around in traffic?

I'll be rolling along steady at 120km/h, cruise control, in the left lane, and then see some disgusting riced-out Honda weave all over the right 3 lanes. I know they're probably gonna come in (I'm a teen too, I know what path they're gonna take.) and I'm like "nuh uh, buddy" and close up the gap. But they shove themselves in anyway. I hit the brakes, flick the highbeams and ride the horn.

Regardless of how much traffic there is on the freeway, I will NOT attempt a lane change if I cannot see the front of the car in the other lane in my inside rearview mirror. That was the rule taught during driving school, that is the safe distance, and that is what I do. I signal three blinks if it's an easy lane change (plenty of room), and I may signal longer if need be to let the driver know I am coming in. Almost nobody does it, but I don't care.

I won't chase after people or yell out the window; I'm too dignified to do that. On the flip side, I do mentally thank people who know how to drive property. Like when people stay on the right and pass on the left. Or when people let me in. I do my part to keep the roads a good place to drive by following certain rules. If everyone took responsibility for their own driving, driving would be infinately less stressful.

I guess the only thing i REALLY hate is when i'm in the far right lane preparing to exit the freeway and a vehicle ( Dosen't matter what kind of car) pulls up along the left side of me and want's to squeeze in to exit before me and it's clear there's not enough room between me and the car in front.

I look in my rear view mirror and i see no one is behind me which is 90% of the time. That's when i decide to close whatever preconcieved gap they think was gonna be there and let em get behind me where they belong.

I have a few times but not based on what they were driving but based on their attitude

Whenever I'm lost or I'm about to miss an exit, I just go to the next exit and make a U-turn back onto the freeway, then get off the correct exit. Same goes for intersections and normal roads too. Maybe it's because I don't want people to point at me and be like "Ha ha, this guy's lost. Must be a tourist". (Yup. I care a lot about how my driving is perceived . Perhaps this is why I haven't gotten a ticket yet.)
