I don't see it happening. Obama is a moron if he even considers it.

No joke! He should make Edwards his VP.

I believe Edwards would be a wise choice as well...however, i'm sure many bloggers and pundits will spin that they're both inexperienced...

IMO, had the ticket last election been reversed Edwards/Kerry, then the dems would have stood a much better shot at winning.

I hope not. We do not want someone that will be disregarding the consitution again.
Hillary agreed to a set of rules set by the DNC and turned around to fight against the same rules, I believe this is an indication of what she will be willing to do in an Obama administration, she will not hesitate to ignore the constitution if it serves her well in doing so. She will not heisitate to go against Obama in promoting her agenda.
She is trustworthy, and honestly has no standards.
We want change and Mrs Clinton does not represent that in any way, shape or form.

Like it or not, she has a lot of supporters - it's not like she hasn't been doing well in the primary elections. The thing about her is that she has a ton of enemies too.

Obama really needs someone who can help him in swing states like, Ohio, Penn plus Ny/Nj too. So senator or gov from one of these states really helps him. He also needs to pull Hispanic voters so Richardson from New Mex seems to be a good choice too. I'd also argue he needs to attract more moderate Mccain supporters who may vote primarily because how they see the war being handled. So, Colin Powell would be a great choice here, the General also would bring other Reps. along with him. The downside here is I'm not sure if America is ready for two men of color in the white house (in all honesty I'm not sure the U.S.A. is ready for one).

Anyway, considering Obama's 'needs' for a VP, I don't see how Edwards fits in. He did not do that great in the primary's (Hillary kicked his but), his state isn't one of the most significant needs (plus Obama has a solid chance of taking it anyway). I like Edwards, but besides having marginal experience, being white (which matters), and having an average number of supporters when compared to other common names - I'm not sure he makes any senses to add to the ticket. Cabinet member maybe...

I already have my bags packed to move to Canada. O'Bama and Clinton spells economic disaster worse than we currently face. To say nothing of how absolutely pathetic we would look in the eyes of other growing world super powers.
Sweet Jesus.

Economic disaster worse than what's been happening under the current regime? I'm not sure about that.

However I strongly disagree on the idea of O'bama and/or Clinton would make us look any worse to the world. In fact I think quite the opposite is true. Just them being elected would be a positive statement to the world about our tollerance and growth as a nation. We are already looked at in such a negative light that either one or both of them would be a strong signal of potential change. Mccain on the other hand I think would be a sign of continuation of George and that would make the U.S. look worse initially.

Regardless of who wins the election, the world will wait and see what happens in the first 6 months to a year and make real judgement calls then.
