Its also funny to see people use the Bible and quote scripture to support their beliefs, but want to leave the Bible (religon) at the door when dealing with other topics.

The root of sodomy is Sodom... as in Sodom and Gomorrah. See, Genesis 18. God destroyed Sodom for its wickedness, but God told Abraham that God would spare the city if there were 50 righteous people in the city, then 45, then 40, then 30 then 20 and finally God told Abraham that God would not destroy Sodom if he were able to find only ten righteous people. He found only one, Lot, Nephew of Abraham. You know the rest...pillar of salt and stuff.

I never said every man & woman has to be under control of God. Those who claim to be Christians and yet practice that lifestyle is what I referred to. If someone chooses to practice that lifestyle that's fine, just don't proclaim it to be moral in our Christian Gods eyes.

Well the last time I checked, we weren't all extremist.... it's not an argument, it's a fact.

Pride is about celebrating who you are and the on-going fight for equal rights. Such comments prove why the fight lives on.

All I meant was that the gay community has been fighting so hard to gain these rights but in "my opinion" these types of events are not helping their argument. As someone else mentioned..... I agree there are plenty of gay couples that would make much better parents than the heterosexual ones........ Again just stating that when these events are basically the only exposure the average citizen has to the gay community it isn't very convincing that they should be allowed to raise a child......... I'm not saying one should suppress their pride and put on the khakis and polo to get equal rights but events like this can't possibly be beneficial to gaining what you are after.
