Gay Pride Marches
Well...it may be a little hard to take it seriously when it looks like this...(flip on through)

The purpose of which according to news sources is............
Gay rights advocates also plan to use the occasion to build support for their campaign to defeat a ballot initiative that would overturn the state Supreme Court's decision by amending the California Constitution to again ban same-sex marriage. To make sure that people know "It's not this subculture. It's mainstream. To be accepted by all as a normal lifestyle The parade will still celebrate "having a great time and living out loud. For the rest of us in the bay area; unless one happens to be in San Francisco for this event or watch the news it's a NON EVENT with these NORMAL people........

You could probably find some aspect of my lifestyle you disagree with. I also believe that the gay community should have equal legal rights as married couples. All I meant was that the gay community has been fighting so hard to gain these rights but in "my opinion" these types of events are not helping their argument. As someone else mentioned..... I agree there are plenty of gay couples that would make much better parents than the heterosexual ones........ Again just stating that when these events are basically the only exposure the average citizen has to the gay community it isn't very convincing that they should be allowed to raise a child......... I'm not saying one should suppress their pride and put on the khakis and polo to get equal rights but events like this can't possibly be beneficial to gaining what you are after.
