ANYWAYS, since you have hijacked this thread with your pro-pit bull post

I think dog parks should be seperated by size, not breed

Any other questions?
I would like to apologise or the inadverdant path this is going.

My comments were not pro pit bull, but they are anti discrimination and hipocracy. History has proven these concepts to be dangerous.

You must realise the statements your present are absurd. One statement is pro-segregation, the propagation of stereotypes and Canid Racism. While is the other is advocating equality AND insulting the entire country at the same time. I find people who do not realise their own Hipocracy laughable.

If you feel the need to have a seperate area in your local dog park, then make one. PLEASE Do not subject the rest of the planet to your simple and closed minded ideas. If you and or your dog do not get along there, then just find another where you do.

Please familiarize yourself with proper training and socialisation along with the physicality of how dogs play. Have the nerve to SELF POLICE your own Dog Park. NO-ONE is gonna do it for you. The group here (hundreds of people) is aware of the bad people and their dogs and do not tolerate them as a WHOLE.

Lol you are always good for a chuckle. Actually our brand new dog part has dog runs by size and 1 all size run. It has nothing to do w breed but size. A play bite from a dobermin could kill my 8lb Chihuahua. To me and 99 percent of the small dog owners at my park it is simply common sense. Relating that to some racial segregation is laughable at best.

to think that my dog lived a long, healthy life, in a yard with plenty of wild animals and no protection.

BB: good luck finding a good vet, ask around a lot. When I moved, I went to the prominent local vet who turned out to be a nutcase. Eventually, I ended up traveling a fair distance to a place a friend referred me too...

Your dog needs to see a vet. Having said that some more information can be found at: http://www.homeopathyforkennelcough.com/

Good luck

Call me stupid, but if what your dog coughed up was food..., what kind of food? Maybe you should avoid giving your dog that kind of food, or make sure it's been cut up into smaller pieces. Maybe look for food designed for smaller dogs. Eventually, you are going to have to find a Vet, but in the meantime, addressing the simple quick solution may solve the problem.

Oh yes, he eats special Chihuahua food with very small kibbles. He is doing great now, what I believe happened was that he ate something during his walk that caused these issues.

Nothing new on the vet front, I ended up taking him to a local walk-in vet, I wasn't impressed. I want to find a small specialty vet who is specially trained in small dogs and their health genetic issues.

Now that's more like it...

"Who says it's "morally and ethically wrong"? Who decides that? And why should that person or persons enforce their belief of what is right or wrong on the rest of the people? - so why should your belief override others'? "

Thanks.

It is so hard to see the Evil Face of discrimination when we don't even know we are wearing it.
