Not true, IMO Quick.

If a person can argue a point and then give policy they would set in detail that would alter the given course, that person would get the vote..or at least should if you believe the course needs altered. Saying you can do something and showing how you would are entirely, 100%, different. IMO the media this time around has attempted to gray out that line. I don't believe there is a person on any side of this....hmm debate (I use that loosely)..that would say Obama isn't by far the better personality.

Wonderful...

Sen. John McCain's record of working with Democrats easily outstrips Sen. Barack Obama's efforts with Republicans, according to an analysis by The Washington Times of their legislative records.
Whether looking at bills they have led on or bills they have signed onto, Mr. McCain has reached across the aisle far more frequently and with more members than Mr. Obama since the latter came to the Senate in 2005.
In fact, by several measures, Mr. McCain has been more likely to team up with Democrats than with members of his own party. Democrats made up 55 percent of his political partners over the last two Congresses, including on the tough issues of campaign finance and global warming. For Mr. Obama, Republicans were only 13 percent of his co-sponsors during his time in the Senate, and he had his biggest bipartisan successes on noncontroversial measures, such as issuing a postage stamp in honor of civil rights icon Rosa Parks.

As for debating you, again...you haven't debated. To debate you must first state a point, you haven't, so that someone can make a counter point.

Quick....you're assuming he is actually trying to accomplish something politically. He isn't. He is simply PO'd that LabGuy has laced his boy, so he posted a link to pointless babble to see if he can generate some heat. I for one am happy to oblige
Then by all means...oblige. I am far from PO'd. Please, Wagner...I beg of you.

Oblige what...you haven't made a point.

Simply state a policy and we could all state position on it.

don't tell them that.

But honestly, after an entire life time in govi service...shouldn't you win that argument against someone who has > 200 days in service

Your welcome to your opinion but here's the real deal. In all my years on this earth the promises made by politicians during the election process are never kept. Everyone knows that. That's why people are fed up with them and the process.

That's why he is the Maverick, to the disdain of some members of his own party. No argument here.

Granted, I never said they lived up to all their positions. I said that stating policy is how you win elections.

It surely doesn't get you re-elected. "Read My Lips, No New Taxes."
