Advice or please talk me out of this

Thanks guys and gals. I'm going to pass for now and if I get the urge later I'll have someone write it on my chest and live with it for awhile. For now I'll pour my heart into the portrait painting I'm working on of him. That will last forever as well.

Painting is nice but spending time with your child is what really counts.

We always tried to have dinner with our daughter and that family time seemed to make a difference.

Sounds like you are a great dad and enjoying parenthood

Yep...Spending time with your child is very important. I paint at night when everyone is asleep. I have a very flexible schedule so he spends very little time in daycare. Last night the three of us went out to dinner and took him to his first fancy restaurant and it was a great time. The owner kidnapped him and took him around to see the other patrons to allow the wife and I to do some wine tasting. There was no childs menu so his dinner was $35. He really enjoyed the Salmon.
