I thought of you as soon as Ovie scored the third goal.

His reaction to Steckel's goal was awesome, too.

Great pics from last night: Game 2: Capitals 4, Penguins 3 - washingtonpost.com

That boy is certainly passionate about the game. It's pretty amazing that two of the best players in the league both get hat tricks in the same game. Crosby must feel like he got kicked in the nuts, hard.

I love playoff hockey!

Vancouver 3-1 over Chicago in game 3. That quieted down the Chicago crowd.

BTW JCL, did u hear that Naslund announced his retirement?? There is no team quite like the New York Rangers for picking up the NHL's best talent and turning them into "has-beens" in like 1 season. I've seen it happen so many times I've lost count already. Lindros, Theo Fleury, even the great Jagr. The one notable exception: Mark Messier, who was tough as nails.

Don't know if it's the intense media spotlight, the general psychological stress of living in NYC, or what, but everyone's production drops like a rock when they come to the Rangers.

It was a near perfect game for the Canucks. There was one bad penalty that lead to a goal but other than that, an all around great effort. I was actually a little surprised at how well the Canucks weathered Chicago's early attack and the crowd but they stuck to it and handled the 'Hawks.

I think Pyatt played well considering his layoff and personal issues. Sundin looks to be ratcheting up his play as well.
