I've been in a holding pattern waiting to see who the Wing's 2nd round opponent would be. The Ducks seem to have a good team, so this should be an exciting series to watch.

Here too, but I must confess it is a real ShedUAll problem, and it gets worse
every season...late May for the finals, with the umptyseven rounds before
it, is tiresome. Even to this ol'hockey fan that grew up in Detroit and skated
since 1952, the season, like so many sports, has become a forced march.

And, this time of year, with so much going on "outside" for spring, it is hard
to buckle down and really watch the S Cup from stem to stern.
But, hope the Wings stagger through...

Sakic is done. One helluva career, One of the best. But he shouldn't have played this year.

What an exciting Game 1 between Vancouver and Chicgo. The best part was the last 1:16 or so when Sami Salo scored the winning goal for Vancouver after Chicago tied it up with 3 goals in the 3rd period. I hope the Canucks woke up to the what they'll need to do to win against the Blackhawks.
