Thx for the compliment I think. As far as the safety aspect of it, better I drive a moped or motorcycle to the train right? Much safer. I wonder if any of you would zone in on the safety or lack thereof if I posted pics of my 1989 Ferrari 328 GTB. That car is beautiful to look at and drive but is nowhere NEAR as safe as the Smart. If I posted pics of that in a thread and said, hey check out my weekend car, would everybody flame me for driving it because it's not as safe as our X5's? Would I see comments like, geez hope you dont get hit by a truck in THAT thing? I appreciate everyone's concern about my safety and my insurance policies and my will being in order but rest assured, I certainly wont be contributing to this lounge anymore. The small mindedness of some members is something i choose not to be associated with. There are other boards I am proud to be a member of. They welcome well rounded members who not only share their passion for the vehicle the board is based on but they appreciate the thoughts and ideas and interpretations that go into other vehicles in ones lineup. Right about now, this isnt one of those boards.
